Tadika Skor Unggul, Puchong Prima, is a centre that offers a preschool programme and tuition for kids ages 7 to 12. The team at this preschool aim to equip kids with strong academic skills from an early age, which will ensure lifelong success in learning.
With kindergarten classes that have small student-teacher ratios, teachers here are able to provide more assistance, attention, and personal learning experiences for each child.
Helping Kids Excel
Children who join Tadika Skor Unggul are nurtured to become adept learners, who are able to use their skills to help them through school life and beyond. Through an emphasis on speed reading and speed calculation, these young students are well-prepared to achieve academic excellence in primary school.
The curriculum used for the kindergarten programme is based on thematic learning, which means that kids will be exposed to unique themes every month. The devoted teachers make sure to give kids hands-on, sensorial experiences that spur meaningful learning.
Tuition and Homework Help
On top of the preschool programme, Tadika Skor Unggul also gives tuition classes to children who are in primary school. In the afternoon, students can go over to the centre and receive help with a variety of school subjects, which includes Bahasa Malaysia, English, Math and Science. The tuition provided is based on the national primary school (SK) syllabus.
The older children receive help with their homework too, which means that they don’t have to go home with a pile of schoolwork to finish.
Enrichment Classes
Students at this centre have the option of enrolling in enrichment classes for subjects such as Jawi, Mandarin and Tamil. Each class lasts for an hour from 1.30 to 2.30pm.
Breakfast and Lunch
When it comes to meals, the preschool provides both breakfast and lunch to their young students. They have an in-house cook who prepares a variety of balanced and tasty meals for kids.
Extracurricular events
Every year, Tadika Skor Unggul organises a big annual event which consists of a concert and a graduation ceremony. During this event, kids stage performances that include song and dance while donned in colourful costumes.
Students will also receive recognition for achievements in areas such as spelling and reading.
Besides that, the centre also celebrates all major festivities such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Deepavali. Students not only have heaps of fun, but get to taste festive foods, wear traditional outfits, and learn about different cultures.
Teachers with Experience
The teachers at Tadika Skor Unggul have 15 years of experience in preschool education. They also have the PERMATA certificate and a diploma in early years teaching.
Other than having the academic qualifications and experience, they also practice a lot of patience with the young children in their care, and show a great love for kids.
Listening to Parents
Tadika Skor Unggul is always open to communicate and listen to parents’ needs and concerns. The team tries their best to support parents, as they understand that a good partnership will lead to the best outcomes for children.
Furthermore, parents are invited to a parent-teacher day every term, and even take part in the festive celebrations at the centre.
A Safe Place for Kids
The centre is kept safe and hygienic with a full daily cleaning before kids arrive each morning, while there is a deep clean once every month (on weekends). Students here are kept secure in a gated premise, where they learn in a comfortable, air-conditioned indoor environment.
