Proactive, Astute, and Civility

Established in 2013, Tadika ABS Little Abqari is an Islamic-centric preschool offering dynamic classroom instruction with caring, qualified teachers and enriching areas of learning catering to children between 4 to 6 years of age. Situated in an integrated Bandar Country Homes and Saujana Rawang township in Rawang, Little Abqari endeavours to create a positive early childhood educational environment focused on encouraging children to be proactive, insightful and courteous; Aktif, Bijak, Santun.

Our Language Is The Reflection of Ourselves

Little Abqari is a big believer that respect is assimilated through the correct use of everyday language, not through the act of traditional teaching. Recognising this, children at Little Abqari are taught caring and respect for others not only through good manners but also through the words they use. Ergo, both teachers and children are encouraged to rephrase words from a negative to a positive context when communicating with one another; bringing compassion into every situation.

Learning Beyond The Classroom

At Little Abqari, learning doesn’t only happen in the classroom, but also outside the classroom; providing children with challenging, exciting and different experiences to help them learn. Learning outside the classroom helps improve the engagement of all groups of young learners, including those who are hard to engage in the classroom environment. Field trips are organised from time to time in efforts to provide every student with real-world experiences. Little Abqari believes that young learners should have access to progressive learning experiences, believing children who go on field trips become more empathetic and respectful towards different culture and society as a whole.

Parental Involvement

It’s crucial for parents to support learning that happens not only at home but also in school. Recognising this, Little Abqari encourages active parent participation in student learning. School-sponsored programmes for parents and young children are organised every now and then to foster successful parent involvement. Little Abqari strongly believes that parents who are actively involved inside and outside the classroom, are better able to establish a connection between what is learned at school and what takes place in the home. This connection is key in helping to create a more positive school experience for children.

Educational Programmes

Aside from KSPK subjects, Little Abqari also offers numerous award-winning franchised programmes and a variety of enrichment activities: ones that will provide them with the necessary strengths for emotional, social, cognitive, gross/fine motor, and academic excellence. The following areas of learning are offered:

1) Franchised educational programmes:

a) Little Scientist

Little Scientists is a hands-on and enquiry-based learning program for children aged 3 to 6 years old. The program is in line with the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) that emphasizes on the development of children’s cognitive capabilities through object manipulation.

b) Euler Maths

Euler Maths is a creative and fun learning maths programme tailor made for children aged 4 to 6. This programme aims to emphasise the development of children’s mathematical concept. The content is delivered from the simple to the complex to help the children to develop confidence and proficiency in Maths. This process will build a strong foundation for success in mathematics.

c) Cepat Membaca Cahayaku

Developed by Chahaya Abdul Manan; Cahayaku is a system that incorporates a more effective technique in reading. This method was created particularly for children with learning disabilities.

2) ABS Little Abqari’s

a) Kelab Araf (Entrepreneurship Development Programme)

Kelab Araf is an interactive entrepreneurship programme that not only teaches kids about entrepreneurship, but sets children up to become successful entrepreneurs.

b) The Little Ibnu Sina Workshop ( Science Through Stories)

Humans are hardwired for stories. And stories provide a great context for learning science. What’s more, psychologists recognise that the story format gets a different kind of attention in our brain. Recognising this, Little Abqari introduces Little Ibnu Sina, a science programme but taught in a form of storytelling.

3) Enrichment Activities

a) Kelas Renang
b) Modul Islami Abqari (PRA KAFA)
