eBright is an education centre that focuses solely on providing comprehensive soft skill training services to both children and teens between 7 -17 years of age.

Kevin Khoo, the founder of eBright, strongly believes that public speaking is a crucial skill to be had but sadly, its education, especially among children is often overlooked if not underdeveloped. Abiding by these three core values:

Public Speaking

Public speaking involves communicating ideas before an audience, be they small or large. The content of which is often purposeful and informative, meant to either entertain, inform or influence. It’s therefore not an overstatement to assume that oral communication is the backbone of any society that wishes to progress in the working world and in life in general.

Oral communication enables people to form relationships and connections. What’s more, it helps influence the process of making important choices. And, in some cases, it motivates change. According to a study conducted by sociologist Andrew Zekeri, his research indicated that “Oral communication skills were the number one skill that college graduates found to be most useful in the business world.”

In today’s world, where people are constantly being bombarded with both, expressive and informative content alike, being able to communicate information in a way that’s understandable, concise, and accessible is therefore essential. In the words of the founder himself, Kevin Khoo, “eBright Public Speaking aims to help students to overcome speech anxiety, to think about public speaking as not something that’s scary nor challenging but something that’s rather fun and interactive.”

Programmes

1) Weekly Classes

• Multiple classes every week at different times and venues in Klang Valley. Children will learn discussion skills, listening, public speaking, leadership, teamwork and presentation skills, among others.

2) Intensive workshop

• Intensive workshops held during the school holidays offer children a direct exposure to public speaking and help them develop the skill sets of a professional speaker over a short amount of time. 

3) Personal Coaching

• Personal coaching addresses custom needs and offers a course that is tailored entirely to the individual. Each student will receive specialised guidance from eBright’s coaches.

4) School Engagement

• eBright also reaches out to wider audiences through their regular school engagements, which include but are not limited to: motivational talks, goal setting, and presentation skills program for students sitting for for PT3, SPM, IGCSE, UEC and others.

Professional Trainers

eBright Public Speaking employs a team of qualified instructors with a background in linguistics and psychology, dedicated to helping children to overcome speech anxiety and improve their communicative skills to a higher level. Trainers are hired based on their strong portfolio of previous work which showcases not only their ability but also their passion for helping children to improve their soft skills.
