MRC Kids Sri Petaling (Pusat Perkembangan Minda Sri Petaling)

MRC Kids Sri Petaling is a small, close-knit preschool that is highly devoted to the total well-being of children aged 3 to 6 years. The school is committed to the value of play in children’s learning and development. With a comprehensive support network for children, including enrichment programmes and child-minding services, great opportunities are created to help children build strong foundational skills for lifelong success, as well as support them on their journey to primary school.

Whole Brain Development

Children’s experiences are supported by the philosophy and values of Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences targeted to develop the whole brain. Dedicated teachers evenly prioritize all aspects of growth, encouraging children to:

  • acquire strong foundation skills of linguistic, logical-mathematical and social-emotional intelligence; 
  • build confidence in public speaking;
  • use their body skillfully in fine and gross motor activities; and  
  • develop good character traits and positive interactions with others.

The Preschool Programme

The MRC Kids preschool programme runs five days a week, starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishes at 12:30 p.m. Every day is an adventure for kids as they play and learn in multiple hands-on activities. Classes are kept small and take place in an open learning area. Learning within a collaborative environment trains children to heighten their focus and attentiveness. Teacher’s observations of children are ongoing and parents are updated on a daily basis, as well as with formal quarterly progress reports.

An Enriching Experience
