A Fresh Chapter at Little Bell Wonderland
Since opening its doors in 2016, Little Bell Wonderland has grown into one of Kepong’s most beloved early childhood education centres. Recently relocated to a larger, purpose-built premise, the school now offers even more room for children to learn, explore, and grow. This new space is a major upgrade from their previous shoplot setting, boasting seven classrooms, a large covered outdoor playground, and even a mini herb garden that children help care for.
“We have moved to a better location that provides fresh energy and better facilities,” shared Madam Grace Chang, the school’s founder and principal. “Now, the children have fresh air, space to move around, and even the opportunity to learn through nature. It’s a huge advantage.”
An Ideal in Motion
Madam Grace brings over a decade of experience teaching in SJKC (Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina). She envisioned a place where learning is joyful, meaningful, and effective.
“Here is where education is done right – a balance between play and academics,” she explained. “At Little Bell Wonderland, we carry out academics in a fun and engaging way.”
This vision is reflected in the school’s name. “BELL” symbolises the potential in every child – like a bell waiting to ring, it’s full of potential and capable of making a great impact when given the right environment to grow.
Balanced Learning: Play Meets Academic Readiness
Little Bell Wonderland follows a hybrid learning approach; their curriculum is fully aligned with KSPK (National Preschool Curriculum) that ensures children to receive a strong academic foundation. Secondly, there’s focus on the childrens’ emotional intelligence, social skills and character development. All of these are nurtured in a child-friendly, hands-on environment, and it thoroughly prepares their transition to primary school – especially into SJKC.

Teaching That Truly Makes a Difference
At Little Bell Wonderland, besides being caring and loving – it’s about being effective. Madam Grace, a passionate educator herself, is clear on this: “Teachers must be able to teach effectively. It’s not enough to just be loving and gentle. They must know how to help children truly learn something.”
To encourage creativity, the school even holds internal competitions for teachers, rewarding those who come up with the most engaging and effective teaching methods. Most of the teachers hold diplomas in early childhood education, while some with years of experience have advanced to senior teaching roles.
Safe, Clean & Stimulating Environment
The new premises offer a bright, spacious, and clean environment. Safety and hygiene are paramount, with daily disinfection routines, handwashing routines, temperature checks three times a day, and strict illness prevention protocols. The entire centre is equipped with CCTV surveillance, with one main entrance and two emergency exits for security.

Meals are prepared in-house by their resident cook, ensuring nutritious and child-friendly food options daily.

Beyond academics, Little Bell Wonderland is committed to nurturing independence, confidence, and a love for learning. Children participate in various fun-filled activities such as:

The school celebrates events like Concert & Graduation Day, Children’s Day, cultural celebrations (Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Dumpling Festival, Lantern Festival, etc) and even singing competitions, ensuring children have a rich and joyful school life.
The acronym BELL captures this dual mission:

Strong Partnerships with Parents
Communication with parents made with complete transparency. The school maintains open communication with parents through progress reports (2 times in a year) on parent-teacher meetings. Furthermore, parents are welcomed to join the school events such as concert, lantern competition and more.
Looking Ahead
With the new location and steady enrolment, Little Bell Wonderland is focused on enhancing their curriculum further. As Malaysia is moving towards the emphasis on creativity, emotional intelligence and values, the school believe early childhood education will continue to play a key role, and kindergartens must be ready to adapt to digital learning and multi-cultural contexts. “We hope our graduates will possessed a strong academic based for Standard 1, and they will always embrace independence, have love for learning, confident, creative, polite & kind,” said Madam Grace.
