A one-stop early year’s enrichment center that caters for children from the age of 1.5 years old to 6 years old. Our Doman Advantage program aims at developing and nurturing eager self-learners through fun learning and play. Through play, a child can be fully engaged in the activity to make learning optimum. Play is vital in every developmental stage in a child’s life. They would be able to grasp and experience knowledge at a faster pace. Teaching methods such as Reggio, Montessori, Glen Doman and other methods are introduced to the kids at the start. Phonics reading is also introduced to them, for them to learn how to read, write and spell as young as 2 to 4 years old. Through methods of Early Childhood Education and Psychology, we are also able to teach the young on daily routines such as cleaning up after themselves when they are done playing, learning basic skills of cleaning up their own dishes and more. Children here also learn various subjects such as English, Math, Bahasa, Mandarin, Moral, Science, Discovery, Arts & Crafts, Foreign Languages and more.
Apart from that, we have Yoga sessions, Music & Dance, Storytelling and a lot of fun activities and programs based on different theme learning.
We also focus on their confidence and performance skill through speech and drama, role-playing, and more. Every end of the year, students would also showcase a dance performance which parents and others are welcome to see. Here at Little Acorns, we also emphasize the value of nurturing and teaching at the same time. As some of our teachers are in the field of education and psychology, any development challenge that parents’ face, we can also help in selective teaching methods specifically for their child’s needs. Apart from that, we also focus on children’s fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, manners and values to furthermore enhance a child’s development.
We do offer training for parents who wish to homeschool their children on their own.
