They employ effective learning techniques that engage both the creative and logical sides of the brain. A notable component of the curriculum is the inclusion of the Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) Programme. Through enjoyable activities like music, memory linking and mental imaging, the ESP Programme stimulates children’s brains from an early age, providing them with an accelerated head start in life. For instance, using music to help children reach a state of mind known as the alpha wave state, which is ideal for absorbing information like a sponge. In this state, their minds actively work with the vast array of images stored in their subconscious mind.
As a dedicated early education and care centre, Bright Kids goes above and beyond to ensure that children and parents receive comprehensive support. They offer a full-day programme along with daycare services, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children throughout the day.
In addition, Bright Kids offers a toddler music programme – Little Joy Music – to enrich the development stages of children aged 1 to 6 years. Both students of Bright Kids as well as children who are not enrolled in the centre are welcomed to join this fun and beneficial programme. This programme uses Welcome to Music, an Australian early music programme developed by the famous early childhood educator, music composer/writer and Orff practitioner Susie Davies-Splitter and Phil Splitter. Little Joy Music teachers are professionally trained, accessed and licensed by both Susie and Phil Splitter before commencement of class. The programme aims to nurture whole child development: Music Foundation, Verbal & Language, Teamwork, Social, Intellectual Development, Physical Development, and Emotional Growth.
On top of that, the kindergarten understands the importance of effective communication with parents and keeps them well-informed through various channels. Parents receive regular updates through a weekly message book, have the opportunity for face-to-face communication with teachers, and are encouraged to participate in parent-teacher meetings, fostering a strong partnership between the school and families.
