HANKidz wants the best early learning experiences for every child that joins them. Coaches here believe that teaching young children should be fun and flexible in order to capture their natural motivation, as well as cater to their individual needs. They want children to be able to imagine, explore their surroundings, discover their abilities and also immerse in the real world. Therefore, it is part of their responsibilities to use plenty of play, hands-on activities and educational experiences to pique children’s interests and encourage them to actively participate in the learning process. Such diversified learning environments can do wonders for children’s overall development.

Mastery of 21^st Century Skills

The school is empowered by a holistic curriculum that cultivates academic and whole-person development. That’s because in today’s world, academics alone can no longer assure success and happiness in life. Various elements including arts, sports, performance and leadership skills, are incorporated into the learning system to support children’s mental, physical, social and emotional well-being. Eventually, they will grow up to become well-rounded individuals with high emotional intelligence who can lead themselves and others. 

Life-Ready Leadership Skills

Providing an education that seamlessly integrates leadership development into the school’s culture is one of the strongest highlights of a HANKidz Leadership Preschool. Children are regularly assigned leadership roles, such as classroom leader, dance master and team leader, to give them a chance to understand and practise real responsibility. Many other effective habits are woven into day-to-day activities to help build on skills like decision making, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and relationship building, which will all in turn enable children to lead their own learning.   

Nature Exploration

HANKidz recognises the importance of outdoor learning and immersion in nature for whole child development. This concept goes back to the very beginning of early childhood education. As children have a strong connection with nature, they can benefit from using it as a learning environment during less structured activities, such as sustainable farming, water play, physical exercise, water play and assembly dance. The time spent outdoors plays an essential role in better learning and general well-being.  

Nutritious Meals Planned by a Certified Dietician

The school administration at HANKidz effectively underpins all areas of care to ensure that children’s daily needs are met. Apart from providing a safe learning environment, they also prioritise the children’s health and nutrition. A certified dietician, Ms Li Xin, meticulously plans nourishing meals to make sure children get adequate nutrients to grow up strong and healthy.      

Highly Trained Coaches

Coaches are united through a leadership culture that is supported by ongoing training. These training sessions provide tools for coaches to put into practice, including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to enhance learning. It also allows time for reflection and improvement to achieve better results each school year.  

They are not only equipped with ongoing training but also serve as role models for the children. They demonstrate positive communication, display problem-solving abilities, promote teamwork and collaboration among students, exhibit compassion and understanding towards children, demonstrate self-discipline, set high but achievable goals, and foster a growth mindset – all of which will have a profound impact on the students, guiding them towards becoming capable leaders in their own right.
