The preschool places careful attention into creating a cosy yet stimulating environment that is devoted to the well-rounded growth of children. Every space has been deliberately arranged to provide easy access to learning materials so children can develop self-help skills and confidence. There is also a sizeable vegetable garden in their compound where children can learn how to grow and appreciate food. All is done with clear safety protocols in place, including health checks, temperature taking, daily disinfection, stainless steel safety gates, CCTV surveillance system, as well as a sprung floor to minimise injuries.

A Well-Rounded Approach to Education

Every child at KLC Preschool benefits from its dynamic curriculum. It is one that is designed to help children develop holistically – intellectually, cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically – through varied learning experiences. The curriculum is developed and revised regularly by the preschool’s in-house R&D department.

The KLC method is all about teaching children how to learn. Notably, a way that sparks joy and interest in learning that will stay with children for life. For the youngest age group, children start to build a solid grounding in basic skills and concepts. Pairing Lessons with American Sign Language

A distinctive feature of the KLC education system is the incorporation of the American Sign Language (ASL) into the learning process. Children as young as 18 months learn to use signs and gestures to communicate. Signing involves physical movement which keeps children engaged during the lesson. Research has shown that children who learn to sign accelerate in their verbal development, retain knowledge better and outperform their peers on IQ assessments.   

Individualised Attention

Here, teachers understand that children all come with their own set of strengths and talents, as well as weaknesses and challenges.
