Established in 2014, Little Bumble Bee Montessori is a Chinese Islamic preschool offering authentic and progressive Montessori education for children between the ages of 3 to 6 years old. Situated at the heart of Shah Alam, its co-founder, Principal Maria aims to bring the gifts of Montessori education to diverse families living in the vicinity, bringing to life the promise and wisdom of Dr Maria Montessori.

When choosing a Montessori school in Malaysia, cost can be a huge factor. Parents want to find a school that’s a good fit for their child, and rightly so. Ever since its early days, the main goal of Little Bumble Bee has always been to offer a holistic curriculum that’s reasonably priced.
Programmes
Little Bumble Bee views children as individuals who are capable of learning through his/her own curiosity and experiences often on one’s own initiative if not with little guidance. Teachers are tasked simply to facilitate and assist them in a way that encourages independence and a love for learning. The preschool plans and provides learning opportunities, Montessori learning tools then facilitate this process, in which the child thus learns at his or her pace.
What sets Little Bumble Bee apart from the rest is perhaps its unique set of teaching approaches and values that seamlessly combines Mandarin, Islamic and Montessori – all under one roof. The aim is to provide its pupils with a substantial, broad curriculum, ensuring that they are fully immersed in knowledge relevant to the evolving world in which we live. To top it off, Little Bumble Bee also offers a day care service.
Children from our centre have extra advantage of fundamental language skills like Mandarin and Arabic. Besides, we focus on each individual child development, and keep a track record of their progress. Our educators are a spiritually motivated and technically well-trained team who are loving and responsible, who truly care the total development of our children. Teachers at Little Bumble Bee are certified in Early Childhood education; they hold degrees if not relevant teaching certificates. Little BumbleBee Montessori Preschool is housed in a Semi-D, 2-storey bungalow in the quiet area of houses along Jalan Tembusu, Seksyen 3, Shah Alam. The preschool embodies the very essence of what a place of learning should be: bright classrooms and a stimulating curriculum, which the child enjoys and feels encouraged. An inviting expanse of open, green yard is filled with play structures for children to play; of yet another hands-on classroom that provides tremendous learning opportunities to children at Little BumbleBee. The preschool is also equipped with a children swimming pool, making the preschool an even more interesting place of learning for parents to send their child to. Parent involvement and family support are important at Little BumbleBee; parents are constantly updated about their child’s school experience via a WhatsApp group
