Kingsbee Toddlers Preschool, Pandan Indah, is dedicated to providing families with an enriching child-centred programming for toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years, as well as after school care, allowing them to achieve their fullest intellectual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical potential. It is the childcare centre’s belief that learning through play, exploration and hands-on experiences are the work of a toddler and should be encouraged to stimulate the development of the whole brain. There is a strong emphasis on communication with parents and ongoing observation of each individual toddler in order to provide a rewarding first educational experience for those enrolled in the school.

Daily Schedule
Children go through each day with a broad range of learning experiences focused on stimulating language, mathematical, scientific, social and emotional, and fine and gross motor development. Within this supportive and caring environment, they discover, experiment, play, make friends and gain independence. They progress through the days, at their developmentally appropriate pace, complemented with a schedule that typically runs as follows:
8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Drop-off / Circle Time / Stories / Songs / Movement
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Organized Academic Programme / Associated Skills Development
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch / Shower / Free Play
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Nap
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Reader / Enrichment Activities / Free Play
5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Dismissal
Learning experiences include a balance of structured group activities and free play. The format features theme-related topic discussions, workbook activities, stories, songs, imaginative play, physical activities, and the use of a wide variety of cognitive equipment and manipulative toys. Carefully planned activities are selected each day to encourage the growth of linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, spatial, bodily/kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic and existential intelligences. Teachers observe closely to ensure children are motivated to participate, actively engaged, reach milestones and derive pleasure from the vast educational opportunities presented in the table below:

Kingsbee Junior Kindergarten
It is the aim of the school to expose toddlers to a variety of educational experiences that will help make the transition to kindergarten a smooth and positive one. Kingsbee Junior Kindergarten adopts the same learning framework, one that aims to develop the whole brain. The supportive programmes are created to stimulate all aspects of child development and children will flourish both intellectually and emotionally. Over time, children will build a concrete foundation for literacy, mathematical, science and moral values. The kindergarten advocates for play, physical movement and talent exploration as part of the optimal development for children. The philosophy and goals of the kindergarten adequately primes children’s brains for learning and refine skills necessary for great achievements in primary school.
