S.T.R.E.A.M Learning Centre
Junior Explorers is a learning centre offering S.T.R.E.A.M based curriculum for children between the ages of 3 – 12 years old. Strategically situated at Bandar Puteri Puchong, Junior Explorers was founded by a group of like-minded parents with the aim of delivering personalised and quality childhood education.
Junior Explorers is a child-friendly creative learning centre. Here, not only children develop their life-skills but also acquire knowledge where their curiosity lead them through a series of structured age-appropriate lessons and activities. Licensed Creative Learning Programmes
1) Bricks4Kidz®
Bricks4Kidz® is an international programme developed by Michelle Cote in the USA. The programme aims to stimulate children’s creative and innovative thinking through specialised lessons using mainly LEGO® bricks. LEGO® products are used specifically to inspire fun, effective hands-on learning and exciting building experience. The entire module of Bricks4Kidz is anchored in real-world applications and principles of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (S.T.E.M.)
2) Numeracy Explorers
With Numeracy Explorers, students can attain a solid understanding of basic and advanced math concepts through interactive lessons. The curriculum combines engaging online and offline resources and materials that teach and reinforce math concepts. With themes like counting together, match the shape and let’s measure, students learn more than just arithmetic. They get a thorough understanding of the five math strands: Number Sense and Operations, Algebra, Geometry and Spatial Sense, Measurement, and Data Analysis and Probability. Being able to recall math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and effortlessly help create a solid foundation that paves the way for future success. Parents will be amazed to see their children’s grades improve and might even hear that math is fun!
3) Literacy Explorers
Literacy Explorers is designed to help young learners build their phonemic awareness, develop their literacy, and allow them to be successful readers and writers. The curriculum covers all aspects of English language skills: phonics, reading, grammar, vocabulary, writing and spelling. Fun course materials including animated lessons, instructional videos, worksheets, quizzes, and both online and offline projects captivate learners to improve and master the language skills. The beauty of this programme is that teachers follow a child-paced approach that grants learners the freedom to redo activities and lessons or retake tests and quizzes if needed.
4) Dinus Art
Dinus Art is an art programme designed to spark imagination and creativity. The programme has in fact been adopted by some of the renowned international schools in Selangor. The benefits of art for kids are many; they include problem-solving abilities, creativity, literacy, fine & gross motor skills, connection, and understanding. Dinus Art, in essence, seeks to create such a learning environment where children are comfortable to express themselves, be they ideas, feelings, beliefs, values or dreams through art and craft activities.
5) Other Fun Programmes
The centre offers an array of other fun programmes to give children the opportunity to try new things and learn new skills. They include Mind Mapping, Junior Baking, Creative LEGO, Robotics S.T.E.A.M., Skill Art, and Inspirational Art & Craft. All programmes are run by facilitators who enjoy the opportunity to share their skills and passions with young learners.

Teachers at Junior Explorers work as a team; committed to providing the highest level of care and developmentally appropriate programmes for children possible. Besides academics, each teaching staff is selected for their experience, passion, energy, enthusiasm and their genuine love of children.
Effective professional development enables educators to develop the knowledge and skills they need to address students’ learning challenges. Recognising this, the principal made it compulsory for all her teachers to attend professional development workshops from time to time to better their performance and raise student achievement.
State Of The Art Facilities
Junior Explorers is set over 2 levels offering 6 thematic classrooms, 1 conference room, a lobby, a walk-in pantry, a reception area and 2 private balcony gardens. Each classroom is filled with an abundant amount of age-appropriate learning materials pertaining to the subject matter.
The indoor play area where children gather and play LEGO bricks provides a unique and fun learning experience beyond any conventional learning centre. The centre is also equipped with a video surveillance system to help keep children safe and provide parents with peace of mind.
