International Baccalaureate’s (IB) Primary Year Programme (PYP)

Victoriashire Education offers International Baccalaureate’s (IB) Primary Year Programme (PYP) framework – designed for students aged 2 to 12. PYP focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. The PYP is also flexible enough to incorporate local and global issues into the curriculum, ensuring that children are able to see the bigger picture regardless of where they are in the world.

STE(A)M and CODING Education – Kids’ First STEM Studio

It is never too early to start STE(A)M education, at Victoriashire Education, children as young as 3 are introduced to STE(A)M (science, technology, engineering, Arts and mathematics) education. Skills developed by children through STE(A)M provide them with the foundation to succeed at school and beyond.

CODING is the new literacy. When it comes to preparing children for the future, there are few better ways to do so than to help them learn to code. In collaboration with Cobo Academy from Hong Kong, Victoriashire Education offers Kids First STEM Studio and Coding Curriculum for children between the ages 4 to 6.

YAMAHA Music Friends Course

Children who study music from an early age can do better at a range of subjects. Realising this, Ms Cherry incorporates YAMAHA Music Friends Course into its already well-rounded curriculum. In addition, there are also performance arts and sports classes, namely Art Studio, Martial Arts, Drama Play, Sports, Futsal and Gymnastic.

 

Qualified Educators Who Are Richly Diverse In Their Skills

Educators at Victoriashire Education are experienced and certified in either two; Early Childhood Education or Education – hired to teach the very and only subject they’re qualified to teach. Measuring quality teaching can be challenging; it takes a special person to work with children every day. Professional development is thus held for teachers from time to time throughout the year to develop an individual’s skills, knowledge, expertise and other characteristics as a teacher. 

Learning Environment That supports children’s Social & Emotional Well-Being

Surroundings can easily affect young children behaviour. The use of space, furnishings, and materials in schools, and how teachers communicate rules and expectations are all pivotal aspects that can have an effect on both the teaching and learning process. Each floor at Victoriashire serves to promote its own unique educational objective; the ground floor is dedicated to pre-nursery, the first floor is for the nursery, second floor and third floor are for Kindergarten 1 and 2 (K1 & K2).

Each floor is furnished with the right sort learning areas, materials and furnishing that are age-appropriate and multi-sensorial; staffed by teachers with the right qualification and skills. Meals are fully catered for by Cezars Kitchen – a leader in food service in Japan who is proudly serving many leading international schools in Malaysia such as Victoriashire Education, IGS International School, Garden International School, Taylor’s International School and Oasis International School. All their menu is tailored and cooking from scratch without using any MSG or artificial flavors, they focus on raw ingredients and nutritionally sound. So your child’s health is well taken care of.
