“Play to discover, discover to play,” the Lambano learning centre motto goes. The centre reflects the connotative meaning of Lambano, whose origin is from the Greek New Testament; to receive a person, give him access to one’s self. Situated in the Plaza Akardia development in the heart of Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur, Lambano Learning Centre strives to inspire children to reach their full potential, giving each learner regardless of their individual learning style, the ability and opportunity to learn successfully. As such, Lambano places a strong emphasis on 4 areas of learning and development, namely reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. Lessons are structured in such a way to accommodate children of different learning levels.

a) The Child’s Work Is PLAY!
- Play and fun activities are important to healthy development not only for children but also for adolescents. Learning through play helps influence the development of fine and gross motor skills, language, socialisation, personal awareness, emotional well-being, creativity, problem-solving and learning ability..
b) When They Play, They Do! When They Do, They Remember!
- Play is more than just fun for kids. Children remember and learn better through play. Research and findings continue to substantiate that children make use of up to 30% of their energy and time to just play.
c) All Our Teaching Material Is Designed To Incorporate “Games” Through Which They Learn To Retain.
Children are valued, stimulated and challenged through series of didactic games. Interactive classroom activities help to enrich learning and develop key skills such as inquiry, expression, experimentation, and teamwork among children.
e) They Learn Through Exploration And Imagination.
- “Imagination is more important than knowledge,” remarked Einstein. Imaginative play is how children explore and learn about the world. Ergo, learning to imagine is a crucial step in early childhood. Imagination and exploration are major sources of creativity. And creativity is the main source of development and innovation. These two elements ultimately help foster cognitive and social development among children.
Educational Programmes
Educational programmes at Lambano are designed to be hands-on, problem-solving oriented, interactive and fun. Children aged 4 to 6 are initially made to learn and discover things through play. The following essential subjects and skills are taught:
a) Multi Sensory Programme (3.5 – 7 Years Old)
Multi-Sensory Programme is a way of teaching, where all five senses, namely sight, smell, taste, touch and sound are put to the best possible use and emphasised to help young learners to learn and understand things. What’s more, through “Multi-Sensory Programme,” children not only obtain life skills and knowledge, but their abilities in different aspects will be strengthened too. The module allows students to use all five senses to connect letters and their sounds.
b) English Programme (3.5 – 18 Years Old)
English programme at Lambano is divided into several modules. Each module is written and taught to accommodate children with different levels of preparation. Children with little or no experience in English or young learners who are interested to study in greater depth and become more proficient in all aspects of the language are equally welcomed.
c) Mandarin Programme (3 – 17 Years Old)
Lambano offers fun, effective and progressive Mandarin programme through their phonetics, pronunciation, basic phrases and vocabulary classes. The module focuses on helping students learn and increase their vocabulary effectively and develop confidence in speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin.
d) Interactive Science Programme (3 – 6 Years Old)
Children are stimulated, challenged and taught to investigate and question the how’s and the why’s through series of science-themed hands-on activities. The programme is in collaboration with U.C Discovering Science.
