What sets the programmes apart is the Bright Star Method, which combines a child-centric curriculum designed to help students grow in confidence with an immersive learning environment that incorporates a wide variety of learning resources.
The learning process is made engaging with teachers utilising materials such as books, songs, stories, poems, games, drama, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities and practical aids. Content in these programmes also weave in the key values of Confucianism, such as love, kindness, honesty, trustworthiness, modesty, and sincerity–paving the way for students to become well-rounded and morally upstanding citizens.
Starting early
For parents with preschool age children, Bright Star Chinese Education’s latest brand is Tadika Bright Star Brilliant, which is centred around the same principles of promoting Chinese education, culture, and the Confucian values of respect, kindness, compassion, and gratitude.
The specially designed curriculum is inspired by the ancient Chinese text Di Zi Gui (Standards for being a Good Pupil and Child), which outlines those basic moral values and virtues be cultivated from a young age.
