Everyday from Monday to Friday, Cherie Hearts’ doors are open from 7.30 am in the morning till 7 pm in the evening.
Cherie Hearts recognises the importance of developing holistically every stage of a child’s growth. Hence, great emphasis is placed on the acquiring of knowledge, skills, abilities, dispositions and feelings. These are intellectual dispositions that will assist the children as they learn to think and think to learn. And these are all encouraged, acknowledged and nurtured with opportunities provided for in their very own unique curriculum.
Consistent with Cherie Hearts’ CHILD approach (Children Holistically Inquire to Learn and Develop), the environments at Cherie Hearts have been specially designed to cater to the needs of each individual child, be it physical, social, emotional, cognitive or language. Everything is designed to induce and nurture independent learning and exploration. The children will also be exposed to multi-cultural settings and values that are incorporated in the curriculum.
Cherie Hearts offers an excellent Trilingual pre-school programme in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (from 4 to 6 years old) for children from 18 months to 6 years old. Their team of professional and dedicated educators have been specially trained to carry out their unique curriculum. All their teachers possess at least a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. And the caregivers who attend to the infants and toddlers are all qualified registered nurses. To further enhance the holistic learning environment, all their books, worksheets, activity books and teaching materials for subjects such as Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics and Phonics and Literacy are exclusively published by Cherie Hearts themselves.

My First Journey Curriculum
Studies have shown that the first 3 years of life is critical to a child’s intellectual and emotional development. Hence, the growth, balance and stimulation of the child’s brain is of utmost importance. My First Journey provides infants and toddlers with many ‘firsts’, such as, first exploration of his surroundings, first discovery of an item and first experience of a sensation. The developmental domains that set the foundation for this programme are Language and Communication, Cognitive, Social, Emotional and Physical. As such My First Journey consists of activities that stimulate the development of the various domains and help to meet the needs of every infant and toddler.
Jump Start Years Curriculum
The Jump Start Years introduces various learning experiences to develop a child’s various intelligences identified in areas such as Fine Motor Skills, Cognitive Domain, Gross Motor Skills, Language Acquisition and Aesthetic and Affective Domains.
Bridging Years Curriculum
The Bridging Years enhances what the children have been exposed to in Jump Start Years and introduces learning experiences to develop the children’s various intelligences as identified in areas such as Aesthetic & Creative, Environmental Awareness, Language & Literacy, Motor Development, Mathematical Thinking plus Self and Social Awareness.
There is also a School Readiness Programme for Kindergarten 2 children. This programme has been designed specially to help the children transit smoothly from pre-school to the formal system in Primary School. The School Readiness Programme will emphasize academic achievements and nurture and prepare children for the social and emotional adjustments that they will face in a Primary One school setting.
Having such comprehensive programmes have not blinded Cherie Hearts to the fact that education and knowledge is also to be found outside the four walls of a classroom. To provide a more engaging preschool experience for the children, Cherie Hearts also organizes thematic outings, observe religious and national festivals, conduct holiday programmes and have sports days and concerts.
