Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang, Bandar Puteri Bangi, Kajang

The million ringgit question here is – WHY a preschool? With his skills and capabilities, he could very easily secure a comfortable 9 to 5 corporate position. Instead he chooses to fill his days with the screams and activities of children, worrying if the children are absorbing the lessons he is trying to impart and agonizing over the fact that he might not have prepared the children well enough to be morally responsible young men and women when they leave Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang.

As Encik Hanafee begins to tell his story, I slowly realise that there is much more to the man and his family that meets the eye. From an early age, Encik Hanafee and his siblings have been nurtured within a warm and loving family with a strong emphasis on religious education. Those carefree, happy days have passed and today they are all grown with specialties, skills and positions in diverse areas and fields but with a staunch religious core as their guiding principle. And Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang was born out of the family’s desire of wanting to repay society for the education that they had received.

To ensure that Tadika Cilik Al Faten Cemerlang will always remain true to its founding principles, a Steering Committee made up of family members was formed. They are:

Tn Haji Zin Ali

He had served Petronas in various subsidiaries and protfolios for almost 40 years, with extensive experience in Operation Management, Logistics and Procurement. He retired from Pertonas Carigali at the age of 60.

Pn Hajjah Check Mah Omar

She started her career with POS Malaysia in the 80s and has extensive experience in Operation Management and Finance. She is now retired and is currently involved in many NGO activities besides Tadika Cilik.

Mr. Helmy Zin

After obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Petronas he joined Ford Motor Corporation as a Service Engineer and in 2004 he served Composite Technology Research Malaysia as an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer. In 2011 he was offered a position Mubadala Aerospace Company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Today, he leads Mubadala’s Engineering & Project Management portfolio for Airbus and Boeing Commercial Aircraft programmes. He is also a certified ISO 9001 and Aerospace AS9100D Lead Auditor.

Mr. Haneef Zin

He holds a diploma in Islamic Syariah from Darul Mostofa, Yemen and completed his Bachelor in Al Azhar in 2007. He is currently attached to KLIA Airport Berhad as Imam Besar KLIA.

Mr. Hanafee Zin

He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2009. He started his career in 2009 at CTRM. A father of 2, he then completed his Masters in UPM. He is currently pursing his PHd in Aerospace Engineering.

Realising that children are able to learn and grow the best during the early preschool years, Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang aims to provide Islamic early childhood education with a combination of innovation and creativity. It also aims to instill in its students an appreciation of different culture, values and attitudes that will not only make them lifelong learners but also responsible citizens of the country and the world.

The full curriculum, which has been aligned to the National Preschool Syllabus consists of Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, English, Bahasa Malaysia, Science and Mathematics. For a more holistic learning experience, Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang has included :

In addition to all of the above, Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang also has Arts and Craft in its syllabus. However, aside from your usual colouring, connecting the dots, and paper mache projects, students are encouraged to conduct experiments and construct models from scratch via a programme called “Creative Box”.

Great emphasis is placed on the safety of the children in the care of Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang. CCTV cameras are strategically placed in all common areas and access is through a single door access system. With food being prepared fresh and cooked daily, Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang is as close to home as one can get in a tadika.

In order to give more value and provide solutions for parents, Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang also offers the following services:

Daycare (for 2 and 3 year olds)

Daycare is available for toddlers of 2 and 3 years old. Many fun activities are provided, together with a special syllabus for them to learn basic letters and numbers.

Transit

This is a service for children attending primary schools near Bandar Puteri, Bukit Mahkota and Bandar Seri Putra. We understand that it is quite troublesome for parents to manage their children’s transition between primary school in the morning and religious school in the afternoon. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of your child we are able to provide transport to and from school. And we will also provide lunch for students attending afternoon school.

Quranic lessons

Students are taught basic techniques to read the Al Quran, as well as memorizing some of the verses (hafazan) and fardhu ain. These lessons are open to students whose ages range from 6 years to 16 years old. Classes are held every Monday and Tuesday, starting from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. These classes are open to adults every Wednesday and Friday, from 8:00pm till 10:00pm.

Being a ‘new kid on the block’, it remains to be seen if Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang can withstand the test of time. But with the strength of their family unity plus their staunch belief in their religious principles, I am quite confident that Tadika Cilik Al Fateh Cemerlang will, as the years go by, gain momentum and emerge as one of the better Islamic preschools around.
