OUR APPROACH
At San Lorenzo Preschool, the idea of “Global Education” is advocated in them to help children find their own place in the world community. Through class activities and celebrations, San Lorenzo Preschool strives to develop true “Citizens of the World”- children who appreciate, respect and enjoy the diversity of life with the belief that every child is unique individual. Lesson plan is all individualized to cater for the children’s varying needs.
Offering programs for children from 18 months to 6 years of age, San Lorenzo Preschool adopts a range of Montessori and Bilingual Immersion Core Curriculum, Multiple Intelligences, Inquiry and Research based Curriculum, Thematic Teaching and Brain Based learning styles to most effectively help kids at this stage of life.
1. First, that learning must go hand-in-hand with laughter, fun and joy for the most effective environment for children;
2. Second, that every child is unique and must be cared for and taught accordingly; and
3. Third, that children of the 21st century have a fantastic opportunity to grow up as citizens of the world.
As such, beyond teaching the basics, San Lorenzo aims to set children on the path of global education, embracing culture and diversity.

At San Lorenzo Preschool, the importance of early years learning is well understood. Its commonly believed that 80 percent of a child’s brain development happens by the age of five. Right & Left programs are designed to activate and facilitate this coordinated thinking. Courses are specifically designed to ensure that children get the best opportunities to build cognitive, social and physical skills. This program aims to support the existing school curriculum by providing a life skills program that would encourage the students to take an innovative approach to prescribed syllabus.
Individual lesson plans are drawn up for each child weekly and specially designed syllabus will be provided for children aged 5 and 6 years old, along with the integration of Primary One Bridging Programme. This arrangement will prepare our children to confidently enter formal school in Primary School (Chinese, Kebangsaan or International Schools).
OUR MEAL
We provide a homecooked meal to provide children a healthy and balanced diet. The examples of the menu are bolognese, marsh, and cheese, brown rice mixed with white rice, breast chicken and etc.
