– We view parents as partners in working towards children’s development. Young children need a more hands on activities in early years to help improve their learning experience but that had proven to be close to impossible during this pandemic years, so we colaborate with parents to come up with projects that they could do with the children at home that will aid them in their learning.
-We address children’s need for socialization so we do not restrict children from interacting with their friends during online class after a lesson is done.
– We strive hard to improve children’s literacy skill. During lesson, we did a lot of read aloud activity and discussion about the content of book or video that was used during the lesson. We engage children into a session of question and answers to nurture their confidence to talk. Everyone is encouraged to speak up. During discussion, we prefer asking open ended question to improve children’s critical thinking skill.
– We are open to suggestion, not only from parents but from the children themselves. We loved it when our children want to speak up their thought during class. For this, we associate a special time for presentation for each children to present about something during a session.
